We got up and out this morning and explored some of the waterfalls around the Twin Falls area.<\/p>\n

First up is Shoshone Falls:<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then we went to the falls that gave the city its name. \u00a0There is only one fall now, as the other was dammed up to get power:<\/p>\n

From the falls it was time to take in the bridge over the canyon that they base jump from:<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We then hit the road west towards Oregon. \u00a0It was a nice mix of what looked like velvet covered hills, and then rough peaks, and then finally forest. \u00a0The first forest we have seen since leaving Tennessee.<\/p>\n

It turned from a sunny day to a rainy one, and then to snowy, and then back to rain. \u00a0But we made it to Pendleton, Oregon.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow, we head to Portland to kill a few hours, and then to Seaside tomorrow afternoon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
