This year my birthday fell on a Friday. I took the day off from work because it was only 1/2 day due to construction. I met my friends Bobbie and Liz for lunch at Provision. We were later joined by our friend Jeanne. After lunch, Bobbie and I went over to Jeanne’s to hang out a bit with her and Sandy. We ended up staying there until ~8:00! It was so fun to just hang out laugh.

Saturday, Dosher had a picnic for the community to celebrate their birthday (although I told everyone it was for my birthday). We made our way up there for some burgers and sides. We also ran into some of our friends while we were there. Later in the evening, we met up with our friend Jen and her dog Sherbert for a Luau party at the Tiki Tavern. Captain John’s Seafood truck was on site and LunaSea was playing on the outdoor stage. It was a very fun evening.

Sunday, we went to the concert down on the waterfront. Captain John’s was also there. I asked him on Saturday if he would have clam strips on Sunday and he said maybe, so we had to find out. He did! So we had Captain John’s 2 days in a row.

It was a low key but very enjoyable birthday weekend.
