Next trip in the lineup is a trip to Illinois. My mom and I decided to make it a mother/daughter roadtrip. 1,984 miles is what we drove roundtrip. My cousin’s oldest son was getting married. My mom stayed with my aunt Connie and I stayed with my cousin Melissa. My brother and his wife flew in the day after we got there. The wedding was in a town about 1.5 hrs away. We rented a hotel room for the wedding night so that we didn’t have to drive back home. The wedding was beautiful and fun. It was so great to see and visit with most of the family.

We hung out and had lots of family time. With Melissa, Neil, and the gang we went to Summerfest.

Love when I get to hang out with my family. Can’t wait until it happens again. While there, we did plan our family reunion for 2026 and now I can’t wait for that to happen.
