We decided to test out our set up for camping in the van. We were supposed to join up with some friends of ours, but they came down with the flu the night before we left. So, we went anyways. We hopped on the ferry and headed to Carolina Beach State Park. It was a super cold night but we made the best of it. Everything went well. The dogs did great! We did have a visitor in the middle of the night though. It was a raccoon. He pushed our cooler off the picnic table and helped himself to the fruit inside. No biggie. Once we put the cooler in the car, he didn’t come back.
