We actually had 3 days in a row with no rain!  It was so nice to be able to get out without the rain gear. Although it was still a little on the chilly side, the sun was out and we loved it!

Saturday, we enjoyed the day out and about on the bikes.  We took them out onto the beach and had a nice ride!  Riding in the sand is quite the workout!

After a day of riding and after having dinner with a coworker, we decided to stop for some gelato (Scott’s new favorite).  We took our gelato to go and enjoyed it on the promenade while watching the sun set.

We enjoyed hanging out on the beach so much that we decided to do it again on Sunday.  There was a lot more wind than on Saturday.  We went out at low tide to improve our chances of finding sand dollars.  It worked!

The part of the beach where we found all of these is pretty cool.  It’s where the Necanicum River meets the ocean.  Where we were riding/standing would be under water in a few short hours when the tide comes in.

Maybe we have broken the rain spell!  Check out the forecast for the next couple of days! Yippee!
