On Friday, since Carolynn did not have to work, we tried to figure out things to do on short notice.  She had been wanting to take a ride in a biplane that she had seen flying overhead, and so that is what we did.

Jim’s Biplane Rides is a one-guy show in Seaside.  He does this for fun, and not for a living, which makes it all the much better, as he will chat with you until the sun goes down.

We did the 20 minute ride, which took us around the cove, around Seaside and parts of Gearhart, and then up to Cullaby Lake.  It was a good time in an old plane.

Carolynn could not stop smiling, because she is crazy.  I can say that because she will never read this post.
