Last Weekend in Seaside, Part 3
Sunday, I got up and went to the Sunday Market in Astoria. I really wanted to have some of the Marionberry cinnamon rolls again. In the afternoon, we had an enjoyable time downstairs with Barbara and Fred (landlords and coworker). Another coworker. Teresa, joined us for dinner, a few drinks, and some good conversation.
Today, Labor Day, I didn’t have to work. Scott and I went over to Paula and Don’s house for a Monday Funday! Coworkers André and Sunni (and Sunni’s family) joined us. We had so much fun. We started with a mimosa bar.
We had plenty of delicious food! Sunni made lumpia and they were amazing! André brought a marionberry pie and a blueberry pie. They were still warm!!
We also had a nice selection of Sangria!
We had all kinds of fun. Paula and I played a little hide and go seek with the girls!
We had some interesting games of ping pong and some super intense basketball shoot offs!
These guys were very much into the movie on the big screen! Trolls!!
Scott was hiding from the girls and then scaring them! That is Scott’s hand coming from behind the wall. Elenor is blurry because she jumped back so fast.
This photo was right after André almost made his pie take a dive off the shelf. So close!
The group shot. It’s amaizng how hard it is to get a group of people to sit for a photo. This one will have to do.
We have had so much fun with our new friends here in Seaside.
