We drove about 10 hours and stopped for the night.  We decided to take a more scenic route and got to see some beautiful scenery.  Mt Hood was so pretty.  The pictures don’t really do it justice.

We stopped at a rest stop for a break and walking back to the car we saw a police officer running lights and sirens fly by going in the direction we were.  Scott said “I hope there isn’t an accident”.  We get a little ways down the road to find traffic at a complete stop.  We rolled down the windows, turned off the car, and waited over an hour before we could start moving again.  Turns out a truck had caught fire.

The remainder of the trip to our stop was pretty uneventful.

We made it to our destination for the evening.  We were exhausted.  When we woke up in the morning, we saw this cool view from our room.

Vegas, here we come!
