After a short tasting at the winery we headed to Mount Rushmore.  We got there in the early evening and decided to hang out long enough to  see the lighting ceremony.

The lighting ceremony began with a video about the creation of Mount Rushmore and why the 4 presidents were chosen.  Everyone stands and sings the Star Spangled Banner and “bam” the lights come on.  After the lights come on, the ranger invited any military persons to the stage.  A few of them were chosen to fold the flag after it was lowered for the evening.  Overall, a very moving ceremony.
