East Bound and Down…
Loaded up and truckin’. 🎶
We were all packed up and on the road by 6am PT this morning to make our way to Butte, Montana for the evening. On our trip we saw lots and lots of snow going through Snoqualmie Pass, but luckily the roads were very clear. Just wet enough the make the windshield nasty.
The sunrise was pretty.
We continued to make our way to Palouse Falls State Park. It was a waterfall that I have wanted to see but it was a little too far away to make a day trip out of it and it was only a small side trip off our planned route. As we approached the park, we could see tons of fog moving in. I was worried that we were going to get there and not be able to see the falls. Luckily, we made it and were able to enjoy the view of the falls before the fog rolled in.
As we continued on, we came across a lot more snow in Idaho through Lookout pass. Again, the roads were clear.
We were able to see a beautiful sunset in Montana in brisk 12 degrees.
Tomorrow, we will hit the road again and continue east.
