We’re almost there!

Today we checked off two more states on our cross country trip.

We did make a small side trip today. Niagara Falls was on our bucket list and we were too close to not visit it. The weather was going to be the determining factor on whether we were going to be able to stop. There is a winter storm coming with lots of snow. It did snow on our trip today but the roads were clear and we decided to head to the falls. We weren’t able to walk to the edge of the falls or to get a good view of horseshoe falls because the paths were closed due to snow and ice.

The squirrels were super comfortable with people. They would run up to you and beg for food. It wouldn’t have surprised me if they ran up someone’s leg.

We walked over to Goat Island to be able to see Horseshoe Falls.

Glad we were able to visit Niagara Falls. It was nice that it wasn’t crowded but it would have been really cool if some of the paths to the edge of the falls would have been open.

Tomorrow we will complete the final leg of our cross country adventure. Fingers crossed that the storm holds out until we get to our place and get unpacked. 🤞
