Winter Waterfalls
Today we drove through some areas of Maine that we haven’t been to yet. I found a list of waterfalls that were easily accessible (no hiking). They were relatively close to each other so we could make a day of it visiting them all. We were able to get to them all accept for one, and funny thing is that it was named Snow Falls and we couldn’t get to it because if the snow!
The first one we stopped for was in a town called Rumford. We walked to what we thought was the falls but it wasn’t until we were leaving the town that we saw the actual falls that was on the list. Both were very pretty. Also, there was a Paul Bunyan statue here, too.
This was the view of the town as we left.
Just a view from our drive. Thought the block of ice perched on a rock was cool.
Our next stop we made it to the waterfall but couldn’t see it because if the ice and snow.
Our last stop for the day was Great Falls in Auburn. Turns out, it’s not so great in the winter.
