This St Patrick’s day is one for the books. And sadly not because of a wild and crazy party. Since we are in the beginning of the Corona Pandemic, none of the restaurants or bars were open for dine in services.

We were able to take part in Shamrocks on South Howe to generate business for the local places that have been struggling since the ferry has been closed. We dressed in green, drank green beer, and listened to bagpipes.

Here’s a dessert I made for our St Pattys day potluck.

Some pictures of the decorations around the house. I’ll have to do better next year. We met a man who walks by the house everyday and he commented that he loves all of our holiday decorations but that he was slightly disappointed in our St Patrick’s Day display. Most of my door is indoors but I’ll have to spruce up the outdoor stuff next year.
