Adult Easter Egg Hunt, Shark Tooth Kayak Adventure, and Mack
We hosted a belated Easter party at the house last weekend. 1st Annual Hippity Hoppity Eggstravaganza. We had a nacho bar for dinner and lots of games to keep us entertained. We started the night with an egg hunt. I sent Scott out to hide 100 Easter eggs stuffed with an assortment of candy, lottery tickets, seed packets, and airplane bottles. We had prizes for the person who found the most eggs and the person who found the least. One person won $20 with one of their lottery tickets. Next, we had everyone draw an egg out of a box and the people with matching numbers were partners for the games to follow. First up was egg in a spoon race, then egg toss, and finally jelly bean/straw game. Points were awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. After the scored games, we played some cornhole and beer pong, flip cup, tic tac toe. As always, we had lots of laughs, lots of food, and lots of fun!
This weekend, a group of 9 of us went on a kayak shark tooth hunting adventure. I was excited but some were nervous. The kayaking part of the trip was much shorter than I was hoping for (like 10min) but we had beautiful weather and a good time overall. Nobody fell out and everyone made it back. I think everyone was also able to find at least one shark tooth. The only casualty we had was a shoe that is buried somewhere deep in the muck where we got out of the kayaks at the end. Afterwards, we cleaned up and headed to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. 5 of us had carpooled together and on the way home we stopped at a nature park to check it out. I would love to go back there for some exploring. Once we made it back, we decided that we all deserved some ice cream so we headed to Chuck’s for some goodies!
Now for some Mack overload. Included in these, are pictures of Mack’s first trip to American Fish! He did great and everyone loved him. He earned a return trip for sure.

Now we are getting prepared for my cousin and her family to visit us for a while! I am so excited for this visit. Hopefully lots of pictures to follow!
