A Little Christmas Here, A Little Christmas There
We took Mack to Unleashed to have his photos taken with Santa. While we were there, we used the gift card he won for the Halloween contest to get him a few toys.
This year I was able to participate in the Southport Christmas bicycle parade. This time they made it bicycles and golf carts. When we got there, there were over 200 bicycles and golf carts lining up to participate. It was so much bigger than anyone had anticipated. We even had to adjust the route a little so that we didn’t run into the back end of the parade. My friend Bobbie came over and decorated a bike to rode with us. Scott rode the tandem with Santa on the back in a sleigh. I rode as a Christmas tree. We met some more of our friends there (luckily we were able to find each other in the large crowd). Everyone had a great time.
As part of Southport Winterfest, people had the opportunity to purchase these wooden candy canes and decorate them however they wanted. They were displayed in a park as a candy cane lane. One of my coworkers painted one with the Oak Island Lighthouse on it. She is so talented. All of them were great.
We had our annual work Christmas party at one of the CRNA’s houses in Wilmington. My friend Liz and I made shirts for everyone to wear. They all had “Most Likely To…”. They turned out great. Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, I do not have any pictures of the party. However, here are a few pictures of some of the shirts I made.
Every year, the Fire department had a Light Up the Night Fire truck Christmas parade. This year they opened it up to golf carts and bicycles. I decorated the golf cart and put tons of lights on it. Our friends Liz, Daniel, Bryson and even Mack rode with us. We had a good time. Lots of people lined the streets to watch.
Just a few pictures of Mack.
This season several people placed orders for shirts and I was pretty busy making shirts for gifts and for myself. Here are a few pics of some that I made.
I also etched a set of wine glasses for my sister in law and brother. Scott made the wine bottle holders and I stained them and added the words. They sit on top of a wine bottle abs hold a wine glass on each end.
A group of 10 friends got together for dinner and a show at the local little theater. It was the first time I had been here but it will not be the last. It was a cute place.
We took a weekend to head up to Rockingham so that my mom and I could have our annual Christmas baking marathon. It was a long, busy, but fun visit. We made plates for 13 neighbors, the mail lady, and the UPS driver.
While we were there, I had a mini photo shoot with Mack and Rocko wearing their Christmas bandannas. They are so photogenic even though they both hate the camera.
Also while we were there, my little niece Tinley gave Mack a beauty makeover. He was so patient and let her “do his nails” and “do his makeup”. Haha
Playing outside with some of the new toys.
Me working on Christmas Eve.
