Happy New Year!

We brought in the New Year with a party at our house. The theme was thrift shop elegant. We were supposed to buy our outfits from a thrift shop. We had prizes for Best Dressed Male, Best Dressed Female, and Cheapest Outfit. Out of all of the attendees, Carolina was the only one that actually made it until midnight. Everyone brought comfy clothes to change into after we took our pictures and chose the winners. We ate pizza and wings, played games, and had lots of laughs as usual.

Mom, Dad , and Rocko came for a weekend visit.

While they were here, we had quite the flood. It was a combination of king tide, the moon, and a storm coming in. My mom and I braved the wind and went down to the waterfront to get a firsthand look. It looked like we had a hurricane.

Scott got a “new” bike. The kids will be able to ride in the front of it, but he is most interested in the fact that Mack can ride in the front also.

We got together with some friends on a beautiful day at Tap and Cellar to play music bingo. The weather was amazing. Chelsea and Liz both won a game.

Mack got to have a sleepover with his friend Lucy while we dog sat for her for a couple of days.

We got some winter weather recently. Sadly, we did not get snow like the rest of the state. We only got ice.
