End of May
Our friends Amanda and Stacy came to visit us! They delayed their trip by a day due to some rainy weather. Although there was zero sunshine the entire weekend, we had a great visit. They arrived on Sunday afternoon and we headed down to American Fish to enjoy the view and a few drinks. It was cool and cloudy but it did not rain. We hung out until we were hungry and then made our way to Fishy Fishy for dinner. Monday was going to be a beach day but the weather sucked so we cancelled those plans. It was so good to hang out with them again. Hopefully it won’t be so long before we hang out with them again.
My friend Liz’s son is “graduating” from 5th grade and heading to the middle school next year. Southport Elementary held a “graduation” parade and we had a little group meet up at Southport Tap and Cellar to cheer Bryson on as he rode by. Hanging with friends, enjoying a cold beverage, and a parade….what could be better?
I came home from work and saw this on the table. Scott sure does have some fans in his schools.
Scott and I went to a program on the Garrison Lawn for the celebration of the commemorative bricks after we left the parade. They just thanked everyone for purchasing the bricks and talked about some Southport history. It was a nice night to be out.
My roses are showing off this year! They have had lots and lots of blooms.
