My brother, his wife, her brother, and his wife came down to hang out for the weekend. After they arrived on Friday evening, we headed down to the waterfront to have dinner. There was a wait for dinner at Fishy Fishy so while we waited we went and had a drink at the Mullet. Braving the brief rain shower at American Fish was next on the agenda. After a few drinks there, we made our way to the Tiki Tavern for drinks, dancing, and karaoke. Our evening ended in the backyard around the fire pit, which we quickly put out because it was too hot for a fire.

Saturday we began our day by participating in Adult Field Day. After that, we came home, got cleaned up, and headed back down to the waterfront. While on the waitlist for Frying Pan, we had a drink at American Fish. We had post dinner drinks at Loco Jo’s, had a drink and played games at Southport Tap and Cellar, and ended the night yet again at the Tiki Tavern.

Sunday, we got up and we’re out of the house by 8am to head to Caswell Beach. We enjoyed several hours of a beautiful day relaxing on the beach. Once home, everyone packed up and headed back home.
