My friend Malissa met us at the Tiki Tavern to listen to one of our favorite local bands. On Sunday, we took the ferry over to Ft Fisher and rode our bikes up to Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. It was very windy and cold but still enjoyable. My friend Chelsea invited to see her daughter in the play Clue at the High School. It was so much better than I thought it would be.

We once again took our bikes on the ferry to head to Ft Fisher. This time the weather was absolutely beautiful! We even packed our beach chairs so that we could spend some time sitting on the beach. Our first stop was the Aquarium so that we could enjoy the festival of trees. There were so many pretty and creative trees. After the aquarium, we went to Kure Beach and sat on the beach soaking up some sun for a little while. When we got back home, we noticed a bunch of vultures hanging around in our yard. When we peeked over the fence, there were 20+ vultures enjoying the remnants of an opossum.

We went to Rockingham for Thanksgiving. We had a great short visit. The weather was nice and we enjoyed playing outside with the dogs for a little bit. We came back home on Friday, to make sure that we could attend the Customer Appreciation Day at American Fish. We didn’t make it long enough to partake in the food because friends of ours came int9 town with a new puppy so we decided to meet with them instead.
