Had a fun yet overcast day on a boat at the Point today. Lindsay and her family invited Sara and me to ride their boat to hang out on the Point. Chelsea and Jay were going to join with their boat also, but something came up and they weren’t able to. We were treated to dolphins playing very close to our boat while we were beached. While watching the dolphins we failed to realize that the anchor (which we threw in) was not attached to the boat until we watched the spool of line go over the back of the boat. Without the anchor we wouldn’t have been able to stay so Sara and Zach dove in and kept going to the bottom until finally Zach came up with the line. The day was saved! Despite the cool day and no sunshine, we still had a great time. We did not make it back to the Marina before the rain came.
