I walked down to meet my friends for the 4th of July parade. We had set our stuff out to save our spot a few days prior. We had a nice sized group this year. After the parade, a couple of us walked through town to check out the festival. We stopped at CapeSide Brewing and a few shops and hit up the craft tents. On our walk back, I split from the group to head towards home. On my way, I texted Scott that inwas hot and tired and he came to pick me up on the box bike. Later in the evening, Amy and I rode our bikes to the waterfront to meet Liz and watch the fireworks. Southport put on a good show this year! Scott showed up afterwards to make sure Amy and I got back safe with all the traffic.
